Funeral services for Hans C. Larsen, 70, of 906 Lincoln St., will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ronald Jespersen will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Valley Memorial Hardens. The body is at Nelson Funeral Home. He died Friday at 9:15 p.m. at Sartori Hospital.

He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, July 20, 1891, the son of Lars Peter Larsen and Christine Petersen. He was married in Cedar Falls Oct. 21, 1924, to Lena Gerike. He was a retired Illinois Central derrick engineer, and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; a son and three daughters: Hans C. Jr., and Mrs. Rosa Jacobsen, both at home; Mrs. Ruth Simerson, 904 Lincoln St., and Mrs. Hertha Brown, Wheatfield, Ind.; a brother, Carl, Rt. 1, and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
