CEDAR FALLS - Linda K. Brinker, 49, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014. at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls, of complications from cancer treatment.

She was born on Jan. 30, 1965, in Marengo, daughter of Cleo and Kathleen Salisbury Elliott. She married Gerald Brinker on Nov. 25, 2006.

Linda attended Sumner High School. She worked at Western Home Communities as a dining aide.

Survived by her mother; her husband and his family; three sons, Thomas “Tommy” Rosenbum Jr. of Cedar Falls and Jason (Cera) Rosenbum and Tyler Brinker, both of Waterloo; a daughter, Katie (Joe) Howard of Allison; three brothers, Mike (Deb) Elliott of Sumner, Rusty (Sandy) Elliott of Grand Meadows, Minn., and Ed (Dora) Elliott of Altoona; three sisters, Lucy (John) Gager of Elkader, Deb (Rollie) Ott of Tripoli and Robin Elliott of Sumner; a granddaughter, Isabella Weekley; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father; her grandmother, Miriam Salisbury; and a nephew, Joshua Gager.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hammond Avenue Brethren Church, Waterloo, with burial in Union Mound Cemetery, Sumner. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers may be directed to the family.

She loved antiquing and going to auctions; photography, geneaology and, spending time with her family and friends -- especially her granddaughter, Isabella.
