WATERLOO - Craig Arthur Ramaker, 61, of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014.

He was born Aug. 18, 1953, to Duane and Harriette Johnson Ramaker.

Craig attended East High School and was self-employed as a master plumber and mechanical contractor, over the years working and living in Hayfield, Spring Valley and Rochester, Minn.

Survived by two sons, Cooper and Jackson Ramaker; their mother, Jolene Stock; a sister, Dianna Povilus; and his collie, Champ.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home, Rochester.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers may be directed toward Cooper and Jackson’s college funds.

He played quarterback on Waterloo East High Trojans state championship team in 1970. He was also fortunate enough to play Quarterback through his college years.

Craig was a scratch golfer and competed in numerous tournaments. Craig lived for the sport of the game and never turned down a chance to play or to teach his sons the valuable life lessons through sports. Craig was the best coach they ever had!
