WATERLOO - Shirley Ann Mundell-Marshall, 72, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Oct. 12, 2014.

She was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Buckhorn, Okla., daughter of Georgia Alice Hunnicutt Jones and Charles Wheeler Jones. She married Jim Mundell on Sept. 11, 1957, and they later divorced. She married Raymond Ryerson in May 1986, and they divorced. She then married Richard "Dick" Marshall in April 2005.

She attended Weber Falls School. Shirley worked at Lawn Hill Co-op in New Providence and Security State Bank in Hubbard. She moved to Des Moines in 1982 and worked at First Interstate Bank, where she was promoted to supervisor, retiring in March 1997. She attended Faith Evangelical Church in Radcliffe.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Sondra (Scott) Maanum; a son, Bob (Brenda); six grandchildren, Jamie (Alex) Adkins, Kristopher Freese, Mitchell Sanburg and Erica, Joshua and Isaiah Mundell; three great-grandchildren, Blake Freese and Elijah and Mya Adkins; a brother, John Barnes; and two sisters, Carol Peebles and Connie Youngker.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Baptist Church, Waverly, with burial in Butler Center Cemetery.

Shirley grew in her faith greatly these last years and spent hours daily studying her Bible along with the Shepherd's Chapel ministry. Her hobbies included gardening, flowers and nature, camping, country music, dancing and listening to her husband, Dick, sing. She loved her grandchildren and was passionate about watching their activities.
