CEDAR FALLS - Helen Larsen, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at the Western Home Stanard Assisted Living.

She was born Sept. 26, 1924, in Seagrove, N.C., daughter of James E. and Harriett Smith King. She married Harold T. Larsen on Nov. 11, 1944, in Bend, Ore.; he died Jan. 20, 2014.

Survived by four sons, Rod of Cedar Falls, Ray (Mary Kay) of Waterloo, Richard (Carol) of Rockingham, N.C., and Robert (Patricia “Trish”) of Laurinburg, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Gene Peele of Signal Mountain, Tenn.

Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and Ernest King; and three sisters, Louise Walters, Susan Combs and Dorothy Chisholm

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church and Christian Crusaders.
