Quen Hummerhee (Quentin Humphrey) passed at 3 a.m. on Oct. 31, 2014, in Cedar Falls. He was born Oct. 24, 1943, in Jefferson City, Tenn.

He is survived by his mother, June Humphrey of Washington, D.C.; sister, Marianne Paull and family of Seattle; daughter, Amaliya Eischen of Nicolet, Minn.; son, Danny Humphrey and family of Salt Lake City, Utah.

After moving around his entire life, he loved living in Cedar Falls the last 20 years.

He was a talented artist/musician/songwriter, willow furniture builder, Chi Gong master, playwriter and Reiki master.

He was a gentle, loving spirit, who touched many lives.

A small memorial gathering will be held at a friend's house.
