Aaron Richard Postel, two-month-old son of Adam and Aleah Meyers Postel, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at the Buchanan County Health Center, Independence.

He was born Aug. 4, 2014, in Waterloo.

Survived by his parents of Independence; a sister, Addyson Thimmesch at home; his maternal grandparents, John and Shelli Meyer of Independence; paternal grandmother, Kathy Postel of Independence; great-grandparents, Karen Omari of Omaha, Neb., Glenn Harris of Manchester, and Leon and Sandra Meyer, Jean Postel, and Junior and Marcie McCardle, all of Independence.

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather; Richard Postel; and great-grandparents, Francis Harris, and Billy and Lil Postel.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Independence, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence.
