Funeral services for Clyde Andrew Bronson, 25, whose residence was at 208 Linden Ave., when he accidentally drowned in the Mississippi River at Dubuque last Jan. 11, will be at 2 p.m.. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Grundy Center. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Engelkes-Abels Funeral home of Grundy Center, has charge of arrangements.

His body was recovered from the Mississippi River Thursday. At the time of his death he was engaged in the insurance business and it was reported that he was at Dubuque to attend an insurance meeting when
he fell into the river.

Mr. Bronson was born on Sept. 1, 1946 at Hampton, the son of Clayton R. and Corean Lewis Bronson. He was from. Algona High 1964. Following his graduated School in marriage on April 11, 1965, to Shirley Dirks at Hampton, they resided at Algona for one year and for four years in Grand Junction, Colo., where he worked for the Atomic Energy Commission.

The couple moved to Waterloo about 1970. He was a student at the University of Northern Iowa for a year and subsequently became engaged in the insurance business in Waterloo. Mrs. Bronson moved to Grundy
Center last March 24.

Surviving are his wife and one son. Richard; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton R. Bronson of Palisade, Colo.; two brothers, Charles Bronson of Titonka, Iowa; and Ronald Bronson of Osage; and one sister, Mrs.
Richard Jackson of Aspen, Colo.

Address changed in above obituary after correction June 9, 1972 in the Waterloo Courier. It read:

In the recent obituary of Clyde. Bronson, his address should have been listed as 208 Linden Ave., rather than 218 Maryland Ave. The Courier regrets the error.
