WATERLOO - William A. Bill Hagen, 85, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Waterloo, son of Martin August and Bessie Pierce Hagen. He married Geraldine J. "Gerry" King on Jan. 16, 1941, in Waterloo. She died March 30, 1998.

Mr. Hagen had been employed as an electrician at Rath Packing Co. for many years until retiring. He also had served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon K. (Bruce) Stone of Waterloo; a grandson, Scott (Corrona) Coverdale of Waterloo; and a sister, Gwen Venter of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a sister, Betty Oleson.

Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Garden of Memories, Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.
