H. Sorensen, until a year ago a resident of Waterloo, is in the city for a few days. His wife died June 29 at Kenawha, which has been their home since leaving Waterloo. She had been sick for three weeks with kidney trouble. She was buried on Sunday, July 31, at Sanborn, Iowa.

Mrs. Sorensen was horn in Denmark February l4, 1880, and came to this country in September, 1908 where she was married in Waterloo September 25, to Harold Sorensen.

Her maiden name was Hannah Jensen and besides her husband, she leaves her father and six brothers and one sister, all residing In Denmark. She had no children.

Deceased was a member of the Danish Lutheran church and during the several years they lived in Waterloo they made many friends among the Danish residents. These friends will all sympathize with the husband in his loss.
