HUDSON - Robert W. "Bob" Klink, 83, formerly of Hudson, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown.

He was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Lincoln, son of Louis and Lizzie Johns Klink. He married Verna Mae Radcliff on Nov. 9, 1952, in Hudson. She died Oct. 27, 2003.

Mr. Klink was self-employed as an automobile mechanic for 60 years, retiring in 1987. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II in the Pacific.

Survivors include a stepson, Walter (Lori) Hey of Green Bay, Wis.; and a stepdaughter, Darlene (Duane) Stark of Washburn.

Preceded in death by a stepson, Darrell; and a brother.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Community Church of Hudson, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Hudson AMVETS Post 82, Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Friends may call for an hour before services Friday at the church. Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.
