WATERLOO - Isabelle P. Frerichs, 82, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at Bickford Cottage, Cedar Falls.

She was born Aug. 5, 1923, in La Porte City, daughter of George and Alta Nelson Klink. She married Thomas Frerichs on April 19, 1946, in Waterloo. He died Sept. 28, 2004.

Mrs. Frerichs worked as the municipal court clerk and also as the Black Hawk County auditor, retiring in 1988.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Claussen of Waterloo; a brother-in-law, C.A. Al Frerichs of Tucson, Ariz.; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn (Donald) DuFrene of Hollywood, Fla.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Ruth Hager.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, with a private family entombment in the Temple of Memories at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
