LA PORTE CITY - Isabelle Mae Kittrell, 82, of Iowa City, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City, with Pastor Brian Black officiating.

Burial will be at West View Cemetery, La Porte City. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Isabelle was born Oct. 28, 1923, in La Porte City, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Brandt) Strohecker.

Isabelle was a wonderful mother and grandmother and gracious friend to all who knew her.

Isabelle is survived by her loving friend and partner, Clarence Briskey of Coralville; her four children, Ann (George) Kearney of Lincoln, Neb.; Linda Kittrell of Iowa City, Steven (Cindi) Kittrell of Waterloo and Peggy Kittrell of Denver; her brother Earl (Joan) Strohecker of La Porte City; three grandchildren, Jacki (Ron) Price, Steph Kittrell and Chris (Amy) Kittrell; and four great-grandchildren, Ronni, Andrea and A.J. Price and Anisa Sanders.

Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
