WASHBURN - Dennis Paul O'Connor, 69, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Washburn, died Thursday, May 11, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Washburn, son of Paul J. and Ines F. Bagenstos O'Connor.

He graduated from West High School, Waterloo, in 1954. He worked for Sunray DX Co., both in Waterloo and Tulsa, as well as various other employments.

Survived by a brother, Maurice J. O'Connor of Lake Mary, Fla.; and two sisters, Ellen Smith and Charlotte (Harlan) Witry, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Phyllis O'Connor Stebritz.

He will be cremated, with graveside services and inurnment later at West View Cemetery, La Porte City.
