WATERLOO - Stephen Roy Forsythe, 67, of Waterloo, died at home Oct. 3, 2014.

He was born March 28, 1947, in Ottumwa, son of Roy F. and Josephine M. Hanson Forsythe. In 1984 he married Ann Catherine Riedel in Waterloo; she preceded him in death.

Steve was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by a son, John (Wanda) of Cedar Rapids; and a granddaughter, Alexis Forsythe of Cedar Rapids.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services: 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Cedar Falls, followed by a light supper.
