WATERLOO - Miles Cunningham Jr., 90, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born May 10, 1924, in York, Ala., son of Miles Cunningham and Cicpalo Caine. He married Allie Lee Davis in York; she preceded him in death. He married Rhoda "Melvina" Parks in Waterloo; she died Jan. 4, 1993.

A U.S. Army veteran, Miles retired from John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

Survived by five stepdaughters, Ruby (Charles) Wright, Ruthie (Reuben) Stigler, Ora (James) Murphy and Joyce Moore, all of Waterloo, and Katie Cunningham of Rock Island, Ill.; two sons, Erroll Flynn and James (Marie) Cunningham, both of Houston; two stepsons, Otha Moore of Waterloo and Henry (Jarita) Moore of Inverness, Ill.; 38 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah Jenkins of Muskegan, Mich.; a brother, John of Muskegan; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Bertha Cunningham; a brother, Robert; and a stepdaughter, Linda Moore.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Mausoleum in Garden of Memories Cemetery, where burial will be held. Full military rites will be conducted by Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Army National Guard. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sanders Funeral Service.
