WATERLOO - Carrie Johnson, 54, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born May 26, 1960, in Waterloo, daughter of Jim and Jo Ann Weigle Olson. She married Mark Johnson on May 5, 1979, at South Waterloo Church of the Brethren.

Carrie graduated from West High School in 1978 and attended Ellsworth Community College. She worked for 20 years as a Deputy Clerk with the Black Hawk County Clerk of Court.

Survived by her husband; a son, Seth (Kari) Johnson of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Hollie (Nathan) Berryman of Evansdale; four grandchildren, Andrew, William and Maggie Johnson and Bethany Berryman; her parents of Waterloo; and a brother, Bill (Cathy) Olson of Dysart.

Preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Orange Township Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital

Carrie was very involved in her children’s activities.
