Funeral services for John H. Glaza, 61, who died at his home, 200 Witry Street, at 9:16 p. m. Saturday, will be in Sacred Heart Church tomorrow at 9 a. m. Rev. Fr. J. M. Molloy, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary society of Sacred Heart Church will meet at the home today at 7:30 p.m. Death, which came to Mr. Glaza after several months of illness, resulted from paralysis.

Mr. Qlaza was born Dec. 29, 1866*, in Germany. He came to America when a child of 4, and settled with, his parents in Milwaukee, Wis. He was graduated from high school, and later attended Iowa State College, Ames. For 16 years he taught school at Carroll and served two terms as county recorder there.

He married Minnie Fasbender there in 1888. Later he moved to Cottonwood, Ida., because of his health. Returning to Carroll, he was connected with J. B.
Twomly & Sons a grain elevator company. From that place he moved to Readlyn, Ia., where he spent two years before coming to Waterloo. At first he was connected with the Associated Manufacturers ompany for several years. For 15 years he had been connected with the L. E. Glaza Company, heating contractors, here. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Minnie Glaza; six sons, L. E. Glaza, Cedar Heights; H. J. Glaza, Cedar Rapids; J. C. Glaza, 704 Newton Street; M. J. Glaza, 222 Duryea Street, and Raymond and Walter, at home. Three daughters, Mrs. Michael Kraus, 915 Linden Avenue; Mrs. C. ; A. Sempf, Hart, Mich., and Katherine, at home. Three sisters, Mrs. Joe Wahl, Carroll, Ia., and Sister Mary Mathew, Bancroft, Ia., and Sister Mary Frieda, Dubuque, Ia., also survive.

The family requests that, flowers be omitted.
