WATERLOO - Alice Janice Urban, 80, of Beaver Dam, Wis., formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at her daughters home in Beaver Dam of natural causes.

She was born May 17, 1925, in Howard County, daughter of William and Beatrice Green Shock. She married Joseph Urban in 1944 in Lourdes. They were later divorced.

Mrs. Urban was a homemaker.

Survived by two sons, Joe (Becky) of Waterloo and Jeff (Carol) of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Donna (Daryl) McCoy of Fox Lake, Wis., Kathy (Jerry) Mixdorf of Dunkerton, Karen (Larry) Lawrence of New Hartford and Sandra (Kevin) Farrell of Beaver Dam; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna OBrien of Elma.

Preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, John, Robert, William and Raymond Shock.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
