CEDAR FALLS - Dawn M. Pitts Carlson, 49, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Sartori Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 23, 1959, in Waterloo, daughter of Darrell E. and Darlene M. Fuhrmann Pitts.

Survived by two daughters, Misty (Jason) Hoffman of Shell Rock and Lindsey (Roy) Jones of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; her mother of Evansdale; three brothers, Gene, Larry and Paul Pitts, all of Waterloo; and a sister, Kathy (Mike) Smith of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Assembly of God, with burial at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
