WATERLOO - Victor Patterson, 89, of Placentia, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 18, 2007, in Placentia.

He was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Aredale, son of William and Emma Ubben Patterson. He married Kathryn Dooley March 4, 1939, in Hampton. She preceded him in death Jan. 2, 2002.

Survived by two sons, Dean (Kris) and Patrick (Pauline) of Yorba Linda, Calif.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lavern (Evelyn) of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by twin sisters, Thelma Stevens and Velma Patterson.

Services and burial will be Monday in Anaheim, Calif. Melrose Abbey Funeral Chapel, Anaheim, is in charge of arrangements. Information courtesy of Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls.
