Services for Clarence J. Hamer; 86, of Friendship Village and formerly of 311 E. Schrock Rd., will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren with burial in Orange Township Cemetery. He died Thursday at 6:20 p.m. at home of complications of age.

He was born Jan. 29, 1890, in Hooversville, Pa., the son of Thomas P. and Eliza Blough Hamer. He married Elizabeth Reitz, Jan. 29, 1913, in Pennsylvania.

He farmed in the Waterloo area until his retirement.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Riedesel of Bennett, and Mrs. Lyle Miller of Winfield, Kan.; a son, Merwin of Waterloo; two sisters. Miss Maryanna Hamer of 6207 Kimball Ave., and Mrs. Paul E. Wingerd of 6147 Kimball Ave and a brother, Orville L. of 6142 Kimball Ave, .
