Dorothy J. Barron, 79, 0f 3769 West Ninth Street, Waterloo, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at her home.

She was born July 6, 1923, in Dallas, Texas, daughter of Monte and Minnie (Mancill) Holland. Dorothy married William "Al" Barron March 15, 1942, in Rockwell, Texas. She worked at Covenant Medical Center for 33 years, retiring in 1987.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Al; three sons, William A. (Lee) of Aliso Viejo, CA, Larry H. (Jayne) of Houston, TX, and Dennis G. of Katy, TX; a daughter Karen (Gary) Duckett of Redding, CA; 12 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister Marilyn J. Hines of Tyler, Tx.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.
