Glenn L. Teisinger, 95, of Denver, formerly of Dunkerton, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born July 10, 1910, on a farm northwest of Dunkerton, son of Roman Adam and Mabel Dora Steely Teisinger. He married Thelma Smith on April 9, 1934, in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Teisinger graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1927, and retired from farming in 1972. He rode his motorcycle until he was 83 and also enjoyed go-carts and raising and riding horses.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Max (Laurie) of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and a sister, Flroence "Betty" Brasch of Texas.

Preceded in death by a son, Lyle; and two sisters, Blanche Sadler and Evelyn Poock.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.

Memorials may be directed to charity of donor's choice.
