WATERLOO - Wilma Sophia Minard Moyer, 86, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born Jan. 16, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Carl and Sophia Wackerhohn Minard. She married Leslie C. Moyer Oct. 23, 1941, in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Carol Ann Baker of Anoka, Minn., and Cynthia Kay (Terry) Nordahl of Coon Rapids, Minn.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, William (Zelda) Minard, Everett "Boots" Minard and James (Betty) Minard, all of Waterloo, and Earl (Ellen) Minard of Kirbyville, Mo.; and a sister, Dorothy Anderson of Big Fork, Mont.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lee Moyer; and a granddaughter.

Inurnment will take place at a later date. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories is in charge of arrangements.
