Timothy Allen Joyce, 55, of Fairbank, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, from complications of cancer.

He was born Oct. 26, 1953, in Waterloo, son of Richard Charles and Delores Margaret Graves Joyce. He married Julie Heiselman July 26, 1991, in Longmont, Colo.

Mr. Joyce had retired from John Deere after 36 years.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Tina (Trent) Pollock of Denver; two sons, Eric (Jenny) of Shakopee, Minn., and Nick of Waterloo; five grandchildren; his mother, of Oelwein; four sisters, Patricia (Darrel) Bridges of Bondurant, Kathy (Joel) Steinmetz of Victor, Mary Jo (Jim) Even of Gilbertville and Janet Witzenburg of Altoona; and a brother, Dan of Loveland, Colo.

Preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Charles and Michael, in infancy; and a sister, Barb Joyce.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Woods Funeral Home, Fairbank, with a 5:30 p.m. parish rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or to the family.
