Craig O. Clark, 80, of Waterloo, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at the Martin Center of the Western Home Community.

He was born December 9, 1923 in Waverly, Iowa, the fourth child of Frederick and Mildred Cole Clark. He married Lou Anne Shanks while both were attending college. They had three children, Mildred, Craig, and Michael.

Mr. Clark graduated from West High School in 1941 and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Following the War he enrolled in the University of Iowa where he received degrees from the College of Liberal Arts and the Iowa Law College. He practiced law in the Waterloo area for 50 years, retiring in 2003.

Survivors include daughter Mildred (Rick) Edwards of Cedar Falls; two sons, Craig of Cedar Rapids and Mike (Janet) of Waterloo; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother Romaine (Lynn) of Bloomington, IN; sister in law Roberta of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by parents, wife, sister Dorothy, two brothers John and Fred.
