WATERLOO - Viola M. Hospodarsky, 88, of Waterloo, died Friday, June 9, 2006, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born May 28, 1918, in Dysart, daughter of John Franklin and Alice Cora Barker Taylor. She married Arthur R. Hospodarsky on Sept. 6, 1942, in Vinton. He died in 1985.

Survivors include a son, Dennis of Waterloo; a daughter, Linda (Chuck) Knoop of Des Moines; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norman P. Taylor of Santa Ana, Calif.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Wayne; and a sister, Josephine Helleso.

Graveside services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice or Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center.
