Cathy L. (Lockey) Kresser, 56, of Peoria, Arizona, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, July 12, 2004 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home from pancreatic cancer.

She was born on April 12, 1948 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Lawton G. and Madeline (Hoofnagle) Lockey.

Cathy attended West High School in Waterloo and graduated from there in 1966. She married Craig Kresser in 1998. They were later divorced.

Survived by her parents, Lawton and Madeline Lockey of Waterloo; brother, Douglas Lockey and his wife Molly, of Rochester, MN; and two nieces, Megan Mikkalson and her husband Matthew, of Mankato, MN, and Brie Anna Wiltsie and her husband Ben, of Minneapolis, MN.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Esther Lockey and Ella and Lloyd Hoofnagle.
