CEDAR FALLS - Bonnie L. Rogers, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born Oct. 1, 1932, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank and Flora Sprague Rogers. Bonnie was a graduate of Janesville High School and farmed most of her life. She also owned and operated Rogers Market own Highway 218 north of Cedar Falls for many years.

Survived by a sister, Ramona Rogers of Cedar Falls; and many nieces and nephews, including Deb Christopher, whom she raised as a daughter and was a grandmother to Deb’s children.

Preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Verna Brown, Mable Dix and Viola Thompson; and five brothers, Frank Rogers Jr. and Walt, Mel, Myron and Ken Rogers.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Nazareth Lutheran Church Music Department.
