LuVina Iverson, 92, of 6420 Council Street NE, Cedar Rapids; formerly of Waterloo, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at Nortbrook Manor Care Center of natural causes.

She was born on June 20, 1912, in Williams, Iowa, the daughter of Jacob and Eliza Yanney. She married Clarence Iverson on February 15, 1939, in Des Moines, Iowa. He died on September 25, 1998.

LuVina was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waterloo.

She is survived by her two sons, James Iverson and his wife Shirley of Cedar Rapids, Stephen Iverson and his wife MaryAnn of Naples, FL: four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda Jacobsen of Webster City.

LuVina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, four sisters; and one brother.
