Charles Foster Jenkins, 51, who roomed at 331 Sumner Street, died of a heart attack about 1 a.m. yesterday at his home.

He was born Apr. 11, 1898, at Water Valley, Miss., the son of Riley and Mary Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins married Minnie Nunley at Waterloo. They were later divorced. He has lived in Waterloo for the past six years and has been employed by the Rath Packing Co.

Survivors include three sons, Charles, Jr., also of 331 Sumner Street and Marvin and Jehu, both of Water Valley; three brothers, Leo and Wiley, both of Water Valley and Charles, Detroit, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Harvey, Water Valley and Mrs. Jeannette Steele, Peoria, Ill.

The body is at Kistner funeral home where final arrangements are pending.
