WATERLOO - Phyllis J. Morgan, 84, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Martin Health Care Center at the Western Home, Cedar Falls.

She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Waterloo, the daughter of John and Reva Brooks Morgan.

Phyllis worked as a receptionist at Wilson Eye Care Clinic for many years. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Survived by a sister, Betty (Gene) Landau of Rainsville, Ala.; eight nieces, a nephew and numerous great-nieces and -nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Roger Morgan; a sister, Sharon Steengaard; and two nieces and a nephew.

Graveside services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo. There will be no public visitation. Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Phyllis enjoyed sewing clothing, costumes and other items, she liked to make homemade candy and loved to work in her garden.
