Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie E. Bronson, 85, a resident of Americana Nursing Center, are pending at Locke Funeral Home. Mrs. Bronson died Sunday afternoon at the nursing home of complications of age.

Born in Sommerset, Pa., June 19, 1888, she was the daughter of Joseph T. and Mary Ann Kimmel Glessner. She was married to Clyde M. Bronson Jan. 7, 1909, in Waterloo. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

Mrs. Bronson is survived by three sons, Lauren of 107 Logan Ave., Glen of Lake Elsinore, and Clayton of Palisades, Col.: one daughter, Mrs. Harold Walters of 1409 Olympic Dr.; one brother William Glessner of Cedar Rapids, 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son. two sisters, seven brothers, one grandson and one great grandson.

Friends who wish may give memorials to the Americana Nursing Center in her name.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie E. Bronson. 85, who died Sunday at the Americana Nursing Center of complications of age, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Locke Funeral Home, the Rev. Donald Kline, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, officiating.

Burial will be in Orange Township Cemetery.
