WATERLOO - Donna Geraldine Wilson, 82, of Waterloo, died at home Friday, Aug. 22, 2014.

She was born May 15, 1932, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank and Helen Pierce Marvets. She married Gerald D. Wilson Sr. on Sept. 18, 1949, in Waterloo; he died Nov. 17, 1987.

Survived by five daughters, Geraldine (Richard) Jones of Cedar Falls, Dixie (Thomas) Peverill of San Benito, Texas, Marjorie (Pete) Shadow of Waterloo, Nancy Walbaum of Plainfield and Donna Crandell of Des Moines; two sons, Gerald Jr. of Waterloo and Grant of Thompson; 24 grandchildren, including Nancy (Scott) Hoffman and Marjorie Russell, both of Waterloo, who were her caregivers; 71 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Peggy) Marvets of Tripoli; and a sister-in-law, Audrianna Marvets of Georgia.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Allen; two great-grandsons; four brothers, Virgil, Wayne, Barney and Walter Marvets; and three sisters, Ruth Snyder, Phyllis Ohrt and Florence Murray.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and an before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
