Charles Moran, 87, formerly a resident of Waterloo for about 40 years, died of complications incident to old age Sunday evening in his home in Chicago, where he moved after leaving here 42 years ago, according here. to word received

The body will arrive in Waterloo Thursday night, according to word received by a niece Mrs. Madge Doherty, 319 Randolph Street. It will be taken to O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Honme.

Mr. Moran was born in Waterloo in 1858, a son of John T. and Hannah Moran. He was formerly a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church here. He married about 20 years ago in Chicago.

Surviving are his wife and an adopted daughter, both of Chicago.
