WATERLOO - Beryl Ena “Betty” Smith, 91, of Waterloo, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at Rosewood Estate of Friendship Village.

She was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, daughter of Louis and Maude Poole Keeble. She married Preston B. Smith on Aug. 15, 1946, at Holy Trinity Church, Winnipeg. He died Dec. 18, 1998.

Betty attended a business college in Winnipeg, receiving a secretarial education. She worked for Schukei Chevrolet dealership for many years until retirement.

Survived by several nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a brother.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Parish of Waterloo. There will be no visitation. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
