Cedar Falls — Mrs. Victoria Vaughn, 87. widow of Francis Vaughn, Civil war veteran, died early Sunday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gross, Route 1, Cedar Falls, after a long illness of complications incident to advanced age.

Mrs. Vaughn was born May 5, 1845, in Michigan and came to Cedar Falls with her parents while a child. The husband died 11 years ago. She was a member of First Methodist church for 50 years but 20 years ago became a member of the First Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. S. Dlxon, 1203 West Third Street and Mrs. Gross, with whom she had made her home. There are 30 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p. m. at Brown chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
