BOEHMLER, ABEL, ADAMS

Mrs, Ida M. Boehmler, 85, a resident of the Western Home, Cedar Falls, since 1957 and a lifelong resident of Waterloo, died at Sartori Memorial Hospital at 7 a. m. Thursday of complications of advanced age and of a fall two weeks ago. She had suffered a broken hip in the fall.

Mrs, Boehmler was an aunt of Mrs. Thomas Sullivan, 2028 E. 4th St., mother of the five Sullivan brothers who lost their lives in World War II.

She was born Ida M. Abel on May 31, 1873, in Waterloo, the daughter of Madison and Adelaide Adams Abel. She was married to Harry Boehmler, who died on April 5, 1943.

Mrs. Boehmler was a member of Chrit Episcopal Church, Waterloo.

Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Sullivan, 2028 E. 4th St.; Mrs. Carl Weitz and Elizabeth Walter, both of Des Moines; one nephew, R. M. Abel, Rock Rapids, Iowa.

She was honored as the oldest living past noble dame of the Elklets in a ceremony last month at the Elks Club.

The body is at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home. Services are pending.

Funeral services lor Mrs. Ida M. Boehmler, 85, who died Thursday at the Western Home, Cedar Falls, will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles J. Gunnell, pastor of Christ Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
