Robert "Bob" Gunner Jakobsen, 60, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died suddenly on July 9, 2014, of a massive heart attack at his home.

He was born in Waterloo on July 7, 1954, to Gunner and Dellrose Jakobsen.

Bob's humor and laugh were infectious to everyone who knew him. His creativity was award winning with many "Addy" awards for video and commercial production done at his production company AB Sound Source.

Bob moved to Orlando in 1994, where he worked five years for the Benny Hinn ministries. He then created his own video production company, again filming live television production, sales and training videos for corporations, and videos for several motivational speakers.

He loved riding his Harley, boating and reading Scriptures over his morning coffee. His favorite passion was playing the drums and he recorded an album with the band he created "Sapphire" in Los Angeles.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shelley, daughter Ashley and ex-wife Pam, all of Orlando; his mother, Dellrose of Waterloo; and two sisters, Linda (Mike) Schreurs of Johnston and Tina (Dan) Langan of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gunner Jakobsen.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at UAW Local 838, 2615 Washington St., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Bob, you were loved by many and lived your life to the fullest …You will be deeply missed.
