WATERLOO -- Vivian LaVon Lang, 94, of Waterloo, formerly of Denver, died Sunday, July 6, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Oct. 31, 1919, in Woodbine, daughter of Edward and Gladys Smith Myer. She married David Lang on Sept. 15, 1939, in Waterloo; he died Aug. 29, 2002.

Mrs. Lang was a member of TOPS.

Survived by four sons, James (Linda) of Berthoud, Colo., Robert (Adri) of Denver, John (Charlene) of Waterloo and Don (Sue) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Karen (Dale) Nodorft of Orlando, Fla., and Marilyn (John) Bartels of Waterloo; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, DeWayne and Dale Myer; and a sister, Mary Stutson.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Vivian heard the gospel in her youth and made her choice to serve God at the age of 14. She was a part of a worldwide fellowship that meant everything to her.
