CEDAR FALLS - Linde L. “Stub” Hoppes, 65, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born Feb. 15, 1949, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Donald J. and Evelyn Isley Stewart.

Linde graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1967, and before retirement was employed with the Waterloo School System as a bus driver.

Survived by a sister, Peggy “Missy” (Bob) Neuhaus of Cedar Falls; two nephews, two nieces, one great-nephew and one great-niece; and her best friend, Becky Schwartz of Waverly.

Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Stewart; and a sister, Vicki Jo Stewart.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
