WATERLOO - Norma Wigant Jackson, 81, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at NorthCrest Specialty Care.

She was born Feb. 23, 1922, in Savanna, Ill., daughter of Clarence and Delia Shafer Wurster. She married William F. Wigant on Oct. 5, 1952, in Savanna; he died Sept. 3, 1994. She married Robert C. Jackson on Sept. 30, 2000, in Independence,

Norma was a licensed practical nurse at Sunrise Nursing Home, Traer, and retired from the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home (now NewAldaya Lifescapes) in 2000.

Survived by two daughters, Debra (Randy) Hughes of Davenport and Arlene (Gary) Moore of Bourbonnais, Ill.; two sons, Scott (LeAnn) Wigant of Cedar Rapids and Alan (Kris) Wigant of Sumter, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda McCormack of Galesburg, Ill., Dixie (Ray) Bardell of Ridott, Ill., and Alice Pieper of Pearl City, Ill.; a brother, Frank (Cookie) Wurster of Downers Grove, Ill.; and two stepsons, Jason and Jeff (Belinda) Jackson, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, William, Robert and Donald Wurster

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.
