WATERLOO - Janie E. Williamson, 78, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 29, 2014, at NorthCrest Specialty Care.

She was born March 28, 1936, in Nashville, Tenn., daughter of Frank and Agnes Lawson Montgomery. She married Chuck Kemme in June 1962 in Cedar Rapids; he died in 1966. She married William F. “Bill” Williamson on Nov. 25, 1967, in Anamosa; he died March 8, 2005.

Janie graduated from Madison High School in Tennessee. She worked at the Snack Bar at Maple Lanes Bowling Center, at the play room at Cadillac Lanes for five years, and at Kwik Star on Cedar Bend.

Survived by a son, James (Tracey) of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Jamie, Daniel and Lilly; and a brother, Charles Montgomery of Rochester, N.Y.

Preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Michael Williamson and Rich Kemme; a half brother, Reid Montgomery; and a half sister, Janie.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at River’s Edge Christian Church, 1247 Cedar Bend St., with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, and an hour before services Thursday at the church.
