CEDAR FALLS - Mae Lois Lindaman, 89, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, June 27, 2014, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 24, 1925, in Stout, daughter of Daniel and Alice Eiklenborg Andreessen. She married Vernon Lindaman on Aug. 20, 1948, in Stout; he died May 4, 2009.

Mae attended Dike Community High School and worked at Rath Packing Co. in Waterloo, Sartori Memorial Hospital and retired in 1987 from Cedar Falls High School.

Survived by three sons, James (Cindy) of Ankeny, Darrell (Deb) of Waterloo and Daniel (Joan) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Jane (Rick) Rundell of Knoxville, Tenn.; two foster sons, Brad Bigelow of California and Jon O’Brien of Houston; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Erma (Charles) Christianson of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Lee; two brothers, Harry and Harlan Andreessen; three sisters, Margaret Heeren, Esther Thompson and Mildred Wilkens; and three siblings in infancy.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Orchard Hill Church, Cedar Falls, with burial at 2 p.m. in Stout Cemetery, Stout. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Parkinson’s Foundation, Orchard Hill Church or the American Diabetes Association.
