WATERLOO - Wilma Oldenburger, 97, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Butler County, daughter of William Jr. and Albertha Tjepkes Frey. She married George Oldenburger on Aug. 22, 1940, in Dubuque; he died June 30, 2005.

Wilma graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1934.

Survived by two sons, Darrel (Jeanne) of Marion and Duane (Barbara) of Waterloo; a daughter, Jean (Johnnie) Gilson of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Brian Oldenburger of Marion, Steve (Mary) Oldenburger of St. Louis, Ryan (Lauren Riddell) Oldenburger of Des Moines, Jody (Barry) Stratton of Hudson, and Troy Rugger and Lindsey Oldenburger, both of Waterloo; a granddaughter-in-law, Michelle Oldenburger of Marion; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Frey of Parkersburg.

Preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, John Gilson in infancy and Randy Oldenburger; a sister, Henrietta Frey; and a sister-in-law, Ivadean Frey.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
