The community was shocked Sunday when the sad intelligence was made known of the death of Mrs. Dowe* Leversee, a young wife and mother whose untimely and tragic ending occurred at three o'clock on Sunday morning at the Presbyterian hospital in Waterloo, following the birth of twin baby boys. The immediate cause of death was due to uraemic poisoning, in addition to the death of the young mother, one of the little babies passed away, living but a few moments.

The deceased was a most devoted wife, a good neighbor and endowed with all the qualities of true womanhood. Her maiden name Miss Millie White and she was born in Yankton, S. D., forty years ago today. On August 29, 1912, she became the bride of Dowe Leversee, the prosperous young farmer who is now sadly prostrated.

About a week prior to the end she went to the Presbyterian hospital where she was to remain during the ordeal which caused her death and which came as a crushing blow to the many relatives and friends.

The remains were brought to this city and to the Brown undertaking parlors where they were prepared for burial and later removed to the home of Austin Leversee, father of the bereaved husband and where the funeral services will take plane at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon conducted by He. John A. Cole, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, after which the remains will be conveyed to the Hillside Cemetery and laid to their eternal rest.

The profound sympathy of the community is extended the bereaved husband and relatives in this their hour of sorrow.
