Ann Hollis, née Grosse, 78, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center, East Longmeadow, Mass. She was born in Waterloo and attended East High School. She lived in East Longmeadow for most of her adult life.

She was predeceased by her brother, Dave Grosse of Waterloo.

Ann is survived by her husband, Larry Hollis, as well as three sons, Craig (Suzanne) White of Seaside, Calif., Chris (Gail) White of East Longmeadow and Scott (Darlene) White of Monterey, Calif.; and a daughter, Tonya (Dave) Robert of Enfield, Conn. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Strassburg of Waterloo, and many nieces and nephews.

Ann loved to golf, bowl, play Mahjong, and any other kind of card or board game. Her favorite place to spend time was at the ocean. She loved to swim and walk on the beach. She loved spending time with her family. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and aunt and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
