Mrs. Mabel Irene Ammons, 75, of 160 Harrison St., died at her home at 9 p. m. Sunday of a heart ailment.

She was born Mabel Slick, the daughter of John and Wilma Armitage Slick in Almoral on Jan. 9, 1891. On Feb. 29, 1916, she was married to Irvin Ammons in Waterloo. Mrs. Ammons was a member of the First EUB Church.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Robert 0. Miller, 740 Boston Ave.; three brothers, Henry, Monroe, Wis.; Glenn, Cedar Rapids, and Dean, Earlville; three sisters, Mrs. A. D. Holbrook, Chandler, Ariz.; Mrs. Florence Winistorfer, 732 Reber Ave., and Mrs. Lewis Liebe, 251 Baltimore St., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Funeral arrangements are pending at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Irvin Ammons, 75, of 160 Harrison St., who died Sunday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the 0'- Keefe & Towne Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond Russell, pastor of First Evangelical church, will officiate. Burial will be in Midwest Garden of Memories.
