WATERLOO - Michael G. Surdukan, 60, of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital.

He was born Nov. 1, 1953, in San Francisco, son of Gabriel and Dolores Anderson Surdukan. He married Cynthia Nelson, and they later divorced.

He graduated from Northern University High School in 1972, attended the University of Northern Iowa, and was a driver with Drive-away.

Survived by his son, Michael of Dover, Idaho; a grandchild; two sisters, Karen (Stephen) Volk of Solon, and Lisa (Louis) Zubak of Washington, Utah; and a brother, David (Karen) Surdukan of Anna, Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: No services are scheduled. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
